I am one of the many fine artists performing in the final performance of the Winston Chair Cornerstone Event Series –  Learning To Breathe.

The Learning to Breathe series showcases the art-making practices of Black feminists who use poetry and performance to elevate Black cultural life and politics. Using voice, storytelling and deep collaboration, these artists-scholars-intellectuals invigorate the meaning and practice of community. 

Featuring, Shá Cage, Signe V. Harriday, Ruth Nicole Brown and Alexis Pauline Gumbs and including a keynote address by Andrea Jenkins,  Learning To Breathe culminates in a final performance of The Blacker the Berry curated by MaMa mOsAiC Theater.
