I am delighted to join a number of local singers in the first Scat-Off taking place as part of this year’s Jazz Festival.

SINGER SCAT OFF, Thursday June 23rd – 7:30PM to 9:30PM
Come join some of the Twin Cities most scat-tastic vocalists at this year’s inaugural Scat-OFF. Following in the traditions of greats like Ella Fitzgerald and Mel Torme, scat singers Katia Cardenas, Jason Peterson DeLaire, Dorothy Doring, Sarah M. Greer and Jana Nyberg will take turns showing off their scat styles. Audience members will choose a scat champion after seeing each singer in action, first in solo numbers, then in duets, trios and the final SCAT OFF. Radio host Maryann Sullivan will MC the evening.
