In Scat Singing Fundamentals II, we add working with song forms, specifically the 12-bar blues and rhythm changes, deepen our practice of counting and trading bars and work with lyric interpretation and improvisation. Guest instructor, fantastic scat singer and jazz pianist Jennifer Parker joins the workshop as we continue to practice the skills taught in Scat Singing Fundamentals I (vocal colors, personal language, front/back phrasing, etc.).
