I am pleased to join the Give Get Sistet for a short singing session at Pillsbury House and Theater as PHT celebrates the grand opening of their Creative Commons.

This FREE community block party runs from 1 to 5pm, Saturday July 26th on Chicago Avenue South between 35th and 36th Streets in Minneapolis. Jakeeno’s Pizza will also be there celebrating their 50th anniversary. The Sistet will sing during the program celebrating the opening of the new Pillsbury Creative Commons (around 2pm).

Festivities will include:

– Short set by Give Get Sistet (approximately 2pm).
– Live DJ sets by KSRM 98.9 FM
– Artist market featuring local makers and creatives
– Interactive, family-friendly activities
– Tours of the new PCC campus: KSRM radio studios, Tech Arts Training Shop

And … Jakeeno’s joins the block party, celebrating their 50 years at 36th and Chicago with their amazing pizza, pasta, chicken wings and full bar.
